  The Bird Nerds is a half hour reality television show that follows two bird watchers ("birders") on their journey around the world in search of rare birds. There is a secondary theme of adventure travel and eco-tourism, which will enable the viewer to immerse themselves in the culture and environment of each birding location.  This was the pitch for the pilot.
